Edgar nominated novelist, David Corbett, will be the guest speaker at the next Napa Valley Writers meeting. The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Napa Valley Unified School District Building, 2425 Jefferson Street, Room 205. Mr. Corbett, had worked as a PI for many years before writing his first novel.
Corbett has written four novel, many articles and award winning short stories that have appeared in magazines and anthologies. In January 2013 Penguin published his textbook, The Art of Character. Since then Corbett has conducted workshops.
David Corbett’s talk is entitled, “Finding the Heart of Your Story in the Clash of its Characters.”
The event is open to the public; members $5, non-members, $8.
