Jennifer J. Wilhoit grew up in Southern California and has spent her adult life living in various places across the United States including verdant, small islands in the Puget Sound. She earned a PhD in Environmental Studies in 2005 and has conducted research about artisans and conservation in addition to other human/nature relationship studies.
Jennifer is the owner of TEALarbor stories, a business through which she mentors writers one-on-one, conducts workshops and facilitates Story & Nature Guiding© experiences. Jennifer is passionate about writing. Her current body of work focuses on inner and outer landscapes, spirituality, death, the writing life and process, community service and creativity. She also writes an informal weekly blog.
In addition to her published books, Jennifer has authored a number of articles listed on her website. For excellence in writing, Jennifer recently earned VIP status and was inducted as a lifetime member into Worldwide Who’s Who. She is also an active hospice volunteer and enjoys being in nature, reading, making visual art and traveling. Jennifer currently resides in Napa, California.
